Fixed Bollards

Lock-in Sentry

An easily installed car-port theft deterrent the would be thieves simply won’t come in. The steel sentry bollard is comfortable to unlock from its high tensile base. Designed for reserving courier loading spaces, motels, retirement homes and private dwellings.

Lockable Bollards Useful for Occupying any Space

Lockable bollards are used as security barriers on roads as traffic posts or in parks and public places.  The lockable bollards have a key lock that has to be manually opened if the barrier has to be opened.  The lockable bollards used as traffic guards are made from heavy duty steel and they have an internal dead bolt lock system.

Lockable bollards are especially good for secure and powerful traffic control because they are powerful and sturdy.  They can easily be removed for emergency vehicles or if they are used only for some special occasions. The parking barrier posts which are made of metal come in varying levels of security, because each one has a unique locking system.

The keys for the bollards have a special guarantee and the copies which are made have to be registered.  The emergency services and the main service suppliers possess copies of the lock system, but making duplicates later is difficult and very expensive.

The lockable bollards made of heavy metal look simple and elegant and come in bright colors. The in-ground sleeve and the removable post pad are lockable, and so when required, the removable post pad can just be unlocked and the way is cleared. The hinged hole cap locks the post down with the use of a padlock. The installation is done by core drilling, either the existing concrete or new concrete into bitumen or gravel surfaces.

There is another interesting use of the lockable bollard. The rotatable and lockable pollard is used in securing a rope or hawser, for example to a ship.  In order to secure a rope or hawser to a ship, it is wound in a figure of eight around a pair of bollards.  A winch or capstan pulls the rope. In a large ship many such ropes are attached to a pair of bollards. A new method has been devised whereby instead of two bollards only one lockable bollard is used for winching and securing a rope or hawser.

But this lockable bollard has to be securely fixed to a deck or any other structure, its body is made of heavy steel so that it can take the weight and friction of the rope.  It is a lockable bollard, so that it can be shifted or put away and only needs to be used in the process of securing ships in port.

To deter car-port thefts the lockable bollard called the ‘lock-in sentry' is an easily installed deterrent for thieves.   The steel sentry with the solid padlock is impossible to crack.  On the other hand it is convenient to unlock as the base is tensile.  If you want to reserve a space anywhere, this sort of a lockable bollard is comfortable and easy to operate.  Courier companies reserve courier loading spaces or motels and retirement homes can occupy parking spaces by installing a lockable bollard.

Many private dwellings have also integrated lockable bollards to prevent access easily and for security purposes.  It is an easy barrier because you can stop the vehicle at the gate because the bollard is locked.  Only after the incoming vehicle and passengers are scrutinized can they come into your house.
